    Wonderful work on the website and on the toolbox! I run into a problem, however. I have downloaded and installed the all-in-one package. Installation went fine. Compilation went fine. But when I try to run the code, I get the following error message:

    Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
    “____toolbox_MOD_plot”, referenced from:
    _MAIN__ in ccFgNtF3.o
    ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64

    The code I am trying to run is the following:

    program Plotgraphs

    use toolbox

    implicit none
    real*8 :: x(0:100), y(0:100)
    integer :: i1

    ! Initialize x values
    do i1 = 0,100
    x(i1) = 1d0/100d0*dble(i1)

    ! Calculate plot data
    y = x**2
    call plot(x, y)
    end program

    I really appreciate your help!
    Best regards

    Dear Tondre,

    sorry for taking a while to respond. It seems that your compiler doesn’t recognize the toolbox files that should be stored in your system after a successful installation.

    To figure out what the problem is, could you maybe answer the following questions:

    1. Do you use the geany environment to compile your code?
    2. Can you open a terminal and type open /usr/local/include. In the folder that opens in finder, can you check whether there is a file called toolbox.o and a file called toolbox.mod.

    Starting from your answers, we can think about how to trace down the problem.
